Doing a lot more road bike this season then with my MTB's and my first season on the road in 6 years. I still can't believe how crazy it is out there riding the road and I ride out in farmland. Just last night I get to a T-intersection and I did a 99% dead stop before turning right because some guy cut the corner coming the opposite way. He had to veer away not to hit me. And when I hear people say it must be dangerous to ride MTB's especially DH. I feel way more vulnerable on the roads and not 100% in control of my safety where as out on trails only myself is responsible for my safety.
